About me

I have practised yoga for over 30 years and in that time have been
inspired by my own experience to share the physical, mental and
emotional benefits of yoga with others.
Out of my passion to further my knowledge I qualified as a Satyananda Yoga teacher in the 1980s. I went on to qualify as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 1995 and a Mandala Yoga Ashram trained yoga teacher a couple of years later.
In this way I have developed a sound understanding of how to teach yoga safely and how to adapt yoga postures so that they are suitable for individuals. I view Yoga as key to developing a deeper understanding of ourselves.
The idea of progression is central to my teaching. I have taught yoga for over 25 years and remain inspired by testimonials received from class participants about their own experience of the benefits of yoga.
